Bye Bye May...

Dear Sisters, Acolytes and Followers

May has been a time of turmoil and troubles for the Sisters and hence we apologise for the lack of blogs. It is good to see the end of this month which has seen the satanic marriage of Dave and Nick resulting in chaos in local LALAland services for the wee ones. You will be pleased to hear that the Sisters are rounding off this month of mayhem with a pilgrimage to Welsh Wales. We will be paying homage to the Teninch at the exhibition of all things Who and smashing any craven images of the Child which we stumble upon.

We thank all the Acolytes for babysitting the kiddies in our absence and reward you with the lovely visions above.

Talking of lovely visions, I pushed the on-button on my 40" altar last eve to hear the voice of our Lord *praise be his name and teninch* pontificating about the phenomenon that is Harry Potter. Turning around at the sound of his dulcet glasgweigan drawl, Hallelujah! There he was in all his glory, sitting on the stairs, looking for all the world like a little boy kept out of the grown-ups party in the living room. Perhaps he had just put the Child to bed and was waiting for her to stop crying prior to joining the adults for the rest of the evening!

We are pleased to see the Lord seems to be filling his diary for the next few months with filming committments. We notice that his co-stars are becoming ever-more glamourous: Suranne Jones >>> Alice Eve >>> Thandie Newton. The Teninch must be in hogs heaven surrounded by such beauty and talent and should be very perky on set. We wouldnt be surprised to find some extra-curriculum activity occurring over the hot summer months - the Lord is away from home... the Teninch restless... the evenings are balmy... the pink champagne slips down... Beverley Craven is playing on the stereo... Need I continue?

Leaving you with that image... I will bid you all farewell until we returneth from Caerdydd.

Tennant be with you now and forever

xxxxx

Our Dear Lord took in a play last night(Thursday)...sadly not alone...but pictured alone.

The Lord and Child have been pictured [separately] among the press night arrivals for the play, 'All My Sons' at the Apollo, in London last night. Try www.wooler.com
He is smiling like the gracious, amiable, celestial being He is. She - isn't. Not surly, not unpleasant, but not as cheery as of yore. [Maybe Arthur Miller is not a favourite of the Davison household. I feel that way about Ibsen.]
Sending good wishes to the Sisters for a safe and fruitful journey into wild Welsh Wales.

Nice blog again sisters. I look forward to it.
Our Lord I see was mixing with the luvvie crowd last night at a press night. Of course the child was in tow in unusual attire (is she colour blind?) No smirk was on the youngsters face in fact she looked rather serious. Is she getting fed up with the Lord declining to hold handies going down the red carpet? The Lord should realise that adult theatre and children dont mix well.
The Lord does not seem to be as bored of her as us, but I suppose he has lots of little breaks from her and with only one acting job yearly he knows she is always at his beck and call

No wonder he was pictured alone. She clearly needs a stylist before she ends up in the back of Glamour or on some What not to Wear type show. Her colour sense makes my eyes bleed.

However, he is a sight to behold as always. Praise his name and Ten-inch.

Have a enjoyable and safe trip, Sisters! :)

Get your facts straight. Thandie Newton is MARRIED in real life. And Alice Eve has been in a relationship with her boyfriend for quite a few years now. Whether you like it or not, David is attached to Georgia. Start acting like grown-ups for once and wish him happy instead of acting like petulant children who can't have their own way!

anita said...

I liked the Lord's attire- casual yet saucy...as to the child. Well. Um. She has good taste in men, I'll give her that.

Andrea said...

*rolls eyes*

Shut up moron...I don't think anyone would claim to believe he was going to get off with Thandie Newton.
Jesus. Not sure why that comment was even printed to be honest.

And please spare the sanctimonious lectures on who is wanting who to be happy...you believe your skin crawling obsession with his private life would please him? No..it wouldn't. It would terrify him. I don't agree with nastiness from either side but by christ I'm a darn sight more frightened by the likes of you 'anonymous'. Just get a life - please.

Having just returneth from our pilgrimage to welsh Wales, the Sisters felt it was time to have a few fun and games with those of small understanding who read this blog without the first comprehension of IRONY and SARCASM. We see it has worked a treat! Carry on kiddies!

hehehe is right sister c.am happy your both back safe. yippie, go sisters go. you tell them sister c.hehe claps hands wildly. the sisters rock and rule. jessie..xxx

Oh my goodness! Anonymous...you take everything as gospel! Loosen up!

I agree with Andrea... what an obsession you have with David's private life... so much so that you come in here to defend Georgia's claim on him...(which is very scary indeed.. did they ask you defend them? Just curious..) just because they have been dating a couple of years..doesn't mean that there will be wedding bells or anything... things can change...I am not saying they will... just putting a bit of reality here..

And why don't you sign your posts with your name?

Sallee :-)

I love to stop in here because this blog is FUN.

The posts are funny the comments are a riot but seriously what is up with GM's fans?

Don't they have a blog devoted to her they can hang out at? Seriously, do they think THIS is the place to change anybody's mind?

I for one visit Margaritaville before stopping here so I'm so of not in a responsive mood once I arrive...just saying

Babe on Wheels said...

Sisters, forgive me for dropping in unannounced, but I, too, saw those pics from the play.

I kid you not, if I were with Our Lord (praise be his name and ten) I'd never stop grinning!

I was worried, cos he certainly looks thinner, and tired.

It seems GM was at a convention or something and had her pic taken with someone "to show David", which would indicate his absence.

Sister Shagwell said...

Ooooo, look we have another troll to play with.... I like Trolls but Sister C doesn't like me to annoy them too much as it is unfair to pick on the child's friend.

I'm glad that she had pictures taken on her class trip. I'm sure the Lord (Praise be his name and 10") was bored to tears looking at people's hats and pictures of the ground, but he will have smiled at her attempts to take snaps.

Then again we might be doing the diminutive one a diservice as she probably was at the Lord's side walking up the red carpet - it's just that the camera could not capture her image

Babe on Wheels said...

I hope you don't think I'm a troll...

I thought long and hard about posting on here, as I'm not sure I should, but I just wanted to report the siting.

That is all...

I'm a big fan of Our Dear Lord of Time (bless his name and ten).

Sister Chastity said...

Babe on Wheels - You are almost certainly not a troll! That comment was directed at the earlier Anon post. Hope you feel you can post here again ... we dont really bite (well Sister S may do a little bit!). Trolls have no sense of humour or irony and tend to hang out over at Whos Dating Who attempting to convince the world that the Child is the next Meryl Streep!

Anita said...

Seriously?
The Child's Fans thinks she's the next Merly Streep?
Oh.
My.
God.

hi sister chastity. to anon the troll learn this, don,t mess with the sisters, cos the best don,t mess. they are better then you and are miles ahead of you. you are very scareie indeed, in fact all the trolls like you are very nasty and scareie, your just another troll to play with, i don,t like trolls and you would know this about david (praise be his name and ten) i don,t think so get your facts right i could swear at you troll but i won,t cos am better then you and allways will be. i just feel sorry for david having trolls and other nasties that you so are. jessie.. the sisters rock and always will. ps thank goodness i never saw that picture of the child, and i don,t want to look at it.

The Bafta's were barren of visions of our Lord...perhaps it was his night to babysit..did notice wannabe daddy-in-law was present!

Sister Shagwell said...

Indeed it was true that the limelight chasing wannabe was at the baftas - however he was actually waiting on the "beautiful" people. I beleive that he will also be the nominated driver for later.

Babe on Wheels said...

I'm glad I'm not regarded as a Troll - I'm not here to stir, start rumours or cause trouble, merely to report sightings, etc.

My friend swore she saw GM with pater last night at the BAFTAs, but I did not.

I was indisposed...

Natalie said...

So where can one see the child at the Baftas then?

Anonymous said...

Dear Sisters, Is it so that Our Divine Lord [All Glory be to the Teninch forevermore] has been sighted again in the City of the Angels recently? I have no skill to negotiate the murky waters of the Twitter, but I have been told several sighting were made of the Blessed One which were reported on't interweb. It is my belief that rehearsals for Decoy Bride do not commence until later in June, so mayhap he has traversed the Pond again, to pursue more of those Talks and Meetings so beloved of jobbing actors. With the role of magician in a creepy remake to come, tis clear our Dear One prefers not to let the grass of idleness grow beneath his feet.

Congratulations for our Lord obtaining more work and another movie too!
I watched baftas on tv and only wannabe I saw was Daddy D. N o sign of child and I am sure she would have been sat by him if there??
Seems our Lord was prob in LA last week maybe signing contracts hopefully being offered lots of work. No mention of child but I cant see her missing out.
Lovely message from the Lord on the main fan site
Juliet xx

Babe on Wheels said...

As I said, sisters and acolytes, I can only report what my friend said, as I was not present. She did, however, say she saw a blonde sitting with PD.

SO looking forward to Retreat, Single Father, Decoy Bride and Fright Night, but as I've already said, is he not spreading himself a little thin?

Acolyte McSkinny said...

Working/Child tax credit assessments were due in...the Child has to declare some kind of income!

Anonymous said...

The blonde sitting with PD was probably his Unforgiven co-star Suranne Jones, I think. If the child was there, PD would have posed with her. He's had no qualms about doing that before.

Anonymous said...

The Suranne James who will be seen with DT in 'Single Father'?
My my. What a small world Our Beloved and his associates inhabit. Also, I have heard via email from a friend that GM is to appear in a play at Riverside theatre. Just a few performances. I am much intrigued. Friend was short of most details but didst report that the director is Peter Gill, who is well-respected in the industry.

Yes the child is the lead playing a hen at a hen night. Amazing what knowing important people can do for you. Soon she will be too illustrious to spend time with the Lord (wishful thinking). The Lord no doubt will be sat clapping proudly like any father should...

NEWS!!!!

I follow Kurt Sutter (creator-producer-writer of Sons Of Anarchy) and he posted a link to an article about Best Supporting Actors (for the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards here in the US. (the awards are for telly progammes) In the article was a link to see what the ballots look like... and at the end of that.. there is a link to see the list of actors the Emmy voting committe can vote for... and David is in the "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movies, and he is on that list for Hamlet!!! WOOT! Emmy nominations will be announced on July 8th!

I just had to share that with you..

Sallee :-)

Anonymous said...

Thank you for passing on that news Sallee

Anonymous said...

Just to add... another DT fan pointed out to me that David is on the 2010 Primetime Emmy submissions list twice! One for Hamlet, like I said earlier.. and one for Einstein & Eddington. David is the only actor in the "Outstanding Lead Actor in Miniseries/Movies" that is in twice! Go David! :-)

At the risk of sounding like a stalker (hard to do since I am roughly 5,000 miles away), I hear there's been a sighting of our lord (praise be his name and teninch) walking about the CE neighborhood. I do so long for days gone by when we were able to perv upon recent photos of our lad. In this case, No News in Bad News indeed.

Hugs to The Sisters.

Hello Acolyte Bobbi and other Sisters.
Yes the Lord has been seen twice now in CE . Nice he is back in his home town. Oh to have been the lucky folk who have encountered his beauty on his walkabouts

In more awards news (and forgive me if this is old news, I heard about it a while ago) it seems that our Lord of Time is nominated in the Airlock Alpha Portal Awards 2010.

This is particularly newsworthy, because according to http://www.airlockalpha.com/node/7519
He "broke a Portal Awards record generating the most support ever from a nominating committee. His candidacy for Best Actor drew 77 points from the nominating committee, more than any other nominee in the 11-year history of the awards".

Unsurprising, yes.

Fitting, undoubtedly.

YAY for The Lord! :)

Babe on Wheels said...

Oh, and while I'm here, check this out - it's SO cute, and there's a lovely picture:

http://www.getwokingham.co.uk/news/s/2072582_west_end_double_a_family_affair

It fits in with the "All My Sons" bit.

Anyone see the Child in Hen?
And is David here in UK or in LaLa Land? I've heard that he's been seen recently all over the place!
Acolyte Agatha, Paisley-on-Sea [but it might as well be the Moon, for all that I get to go anywhere grumblegrumble]

Acolyte McSkinny said...

Not a Tweet about the Childs' performance! We shall see how she fairs this week.

Babe on Wheels said...

Clearly our Lord of Time and Space hath a TARDIS of his own.

Or a double.

Or a clone.

For lo, visions of him hath appeared all over the ruddy place.

Bagsy a clone/double.

PS my word verification is "aggis"! :)

Seems the Lord may have taken a short trip to La La lad after running himself ragged around CE. Will he be in the audience Wed night cheering the child on? I bet he will because daddy D would be very unhappy if he didnt . The childs part sounds like she is playing a proper little madam (not too big a stretch then

Anonymous said...

Well Hens....the child can't act (voice as irritating as ever ) Surely in his heart of hearts the Lord doesnt believe she can act?? He who is used to working with the greats of theatre and tv must be able to see through the blonde cuteness and face pulling to realise SHE CANNOT ACT
Juliet

Anonymous said...

Well that's a bit far, she can clearly act but the play was awful and the set looked like it was going to fall down. Oh and the rumour mill is alive with the sound of a car crash, heard they broke up as david was going to be away too much. Hope alls well sisters x Lou

Anonymous said...

What mill? Where is this mill located? [More to the point, was he ever seen at the Riverside? I read that one of the four perfs was closed to the paying public and was presumably for the afficianados only, plus a film crew.]
Acolyte Agatha, Paisley-on-Sea

Natalie said...

And where is this rumour mill from then anon? Cannot see anything on any of the usual sites. We've been down this road before when people start rumours for the fun of it. He's not going to be away that *much* anyway.

Anonymous said...

All four performances were open to the public.

Anonymous said...

Sorry I should have clarified. It's just a friend of a friend (of friend) worked with her and said she never once mentioned him. It's not solid but if they were still together I would have thought she would have. Digging was done and nothing. Lou x

Anonymous said...

All that suggests is that GM has adopted DT's tactic of refusing to discuss personal matters with comparative strangers. Long may the Glorious Lord reign in the hearts of his devotees and all blessing be to the teninch.

Two and a half weeks filming in The Isle of Man...will Our Lord (praise be his name and teninch) come out and play?..or will his iphone be constantly ringing?

Babe on Wheels said...

Acolyte Agatha, the same thought had occurred to me.

I hope the Lord of Time is having a lovely time on the Isle of Man anyway, and that he's not getting sunburn on that lovely Celtic skin of his.
