The Lord and the Luvvies

Sisters, Acolytes and Followers

As any follower of the Lord worth their salt is aware, the Lord *praise be his name and tennich* has graced the Radio Times Covers Party with His Presence this very evening. Nice to see the Red Nose Day suit getting an airing before it gets covered in baby puke.

All I can say is *wibble*

I will not rest easy until I see a full length pic of the Lord in All His Majesty, adorned in striped white tight suit and floral tie. I have a wee bet on with m'sel' that this time there WON'T be red shoes at the southern end of the ensemble :)

Sir Murray Gold of the Vale Decem has seen fit to tease the great unwashed of Twitter of DT's involvement in his new work, "Kafka the Musical" playing the titular character.

Of course he's accepting roles in musicals about Kafka and slumming with the B list luvvies hosting a magazine awards show. He's probably desperate to get out of the house.

Sorry - no red shoes alas! Brown... Hmm...

I hope he had a great night: he seemed to be enjoying himself - did you see the pic with Helen Worth?! What WAS going on?

I hope he didn't get grief if he came home a bit the worse for wear - I reckon it probably did him good.

If the gutter press is to be believed [I know.....], he's moved house and lives now in a different part of London. At party's end, I hope he remembered where! There's grief and there's grief, think on :)

Yes...Our Lord and the Child have built a nest in Ealing,West London.

So, roughly midway between her old haunt and his. Interesting.

Close, their new home is in Chiswick, where the Child used to live before she had to move out of London "because of rising rental prices" (HA). Chiswick, and Ealing for that matter is much much closer to her old neck of the woods than his.

Tell us more...
Our Lord would have likely paid for this home...
Detached or Semi?
Hmmmmm....wonder if this one be just off the road(like our Lords' last abode)or surrounded by trees or an electric fence to keep prying eyes at bay?!

Then that makes me sad - and worried - for him.

No their new home IS Ealing and my sister works for an event company who did the RT do and the comedy awards and GM was there for both. She is obviously very good at hiding! Why can't he just leave her home alone for ONCE! Anyhoo the lord looked fit at Comedy awards did he not? Love him muchly. Kate

On Twitter someone saw them moving into a house in Chiswick and Graham Norton said Chiswick police station but Chiswick is really close to Ealing so maybe it's on the border between the two? It's really far from Croich End and DT lived there since he first came to London, that's a blow. Hope he kept his old house as a bolt hole. Going from living alone to have a house full of kids, big change.

Hmm. Conflicting accounts there Kate. Sorry to be sceptical, but the evidence doesn't add up. Funny how whenever someone claims DT was alone somewhere, someone pops up claiming to have inside connections swearing that she was.

Surely you have noticed that when he does the Red Carpet at events he IS alone, but when he isn't alone and avoids it, that usually is a very strong indicator that the child is tagging along.

This.
I'm just feeling very uncomfortable for him that he's the one who has made the sacrifice of moving away from all of his long-time friends and networks. Oh I know they haven't moved to the back of nowhere, but in a sense, CEnd is a very safe neighborhood for famous people to live, because there are so many of them in the area that I imagine being hassled by fans is a rarity. Chiswick/Ealing? Not so sure.

Mmm sure I've seen that exact comment re only avoiding red carpets when not alone somewhere else. I'm sure the worthy defenders of GB wouldn't dirty their fingers here, would they?

He has walked red carpets at events she's attended, and there are other events where she was definitely not in attendance where he did not. No correlation. Ever thought that a modest man who does not chase publicity he might consider doing the photocall as a non-nominee tacky? Or that as the last presenter of the night he may have arrived later than those actually attending the ceremony so he did not have to sit in the green room for two hours?

Honestly, they're engaged and having a kid. I thought the obsession with proving she's by his side every waking moment would have eased off. Or are the shippers getting just a teensy bit antsy over one half of the besotted couple taking every job and going to every celeb party he can find, not staying home rubbing his heavily pregnant partner's feet or whatever it is devoted daddy's to be are supposed to do.

Not just a house with kids but, I assume, an au pair and maybe a nanny when the bub arrives :O I'd guess there'd be a pet of some sort for the lad as well.
From living alone most of the time, able to go out where and when he pleased, to being part of a instantaneous full-on nuclear family with home help x 2!
I'd go bonkers, me.
